What We Believe?
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and is the foundation of our faith and teaching.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s Only Son, by whom every person must be saved.
“‘For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’” (John 3:16)
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” (John 14:6)
We believe in baptism by immersion as the first act of obedience to Christ after salvation.
“Then Peter said, ‘Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.’ So he ordered they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ . . . .” (Acts 10:47-48)
We believe a person is eternally saved by grace through faith.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
(Ephesians 2:8-10)“‘My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.’” (John 10:27-29)
We believe each person has access to God and is accountable to God.
“You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9)
“If we claim to have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.” (1 John 1:6-7)
We believe the local church, autonomous in nature, is the body of Christ led by the Holy Spirit.
“Just as each one of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” (Romans 12:4-5)
“‘But when the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.’”

We believe God’s design for marriage is between one man and one woman committed to each other for a lifetime.
“So God created mankind in His own image; in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
“But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” (Mark 10:6-9)
“Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure . . . .” (Hebrews 13:4)
